Maya has decided to grow her hair out so she can donate to Cancer Society. She's got about 4 inches to go. She has a beautiful hair. Apparently, she shared her thoughts with some teachers and kids at school. One classmate responded, "but why!? I really love your hair the way it is!" Maya's response, "What would you do if one day I got cancer and lost all my hair? Would you do the same for me?" I probably would have said, "hair will always grow back" or something lame like that....I'm proud of her. Maybe I will join her and grow mine out too....
