Adieu Little Birdies

On Sunday, July 5th, we woke up to an empty nest. I felt sad. I wondered this is what you'd call an "Empty Nest Syndrome". A friend told me that the mother may come back to lay more eggs. We are hoping she will. This morning, we actually saw one of the babies awkwardly perched on our hedges. Stay safe, little birdies. Thank you for sharing with us the wonders and joys of watching you grow. Here are the last of the pics I got. I have an amazing video of mother bird feeding the babies. Maybe I will post it one day when I know how to do it. Thank you for letting me share this adventure with you. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Now, I must figure out what to do with the time I used to spend watching them....maybe I need a new hobby :)
