Driving to a nearby city for a few essentials and a rare treat of dining out. Maya exclaimed, "Oh look, there is a platypus with a funky hair-do swimming in the swamp". I gave her the puzzled look and she points at the sky filled with beautiful clouds. One of our favorite games. Finding animals in the sky. One of my favorite memories of driving with kids is stopping my car in the middle of the prairies and showing Maya the winter constellations one clear night in February. Maya and I sing along to the Beatles while we drive. I spy. Making up stories. Road trips. Hope you packed your imagination.
